Step 1: Getting a Quote

In the beginning we would like to meet with you, get to know your wishes and desires, and create a complete estimate. This estimate is mainly based on the selected material (if not selected, we will quote on our starting price and standard stone), edge profile; back or side splash; and cutouts.

Next, choose your perfect stone. Appointments for slab selection must be made with our office in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

When picking out your stone, we recommend that you bring the following:

• Sample of your tile
• Wall color samples
• Cabinet door/color samples

Step 2: Starting on your Project

After you chose the stone and other materials and/or accessories for your project, we will need to schedule a template appointment. This is an onsite appointment in your project location.

This is an important step because this is the time to inquire about any/all details that you want in your project. Know that once the templates have reached our shop, it is considered as “project started”. Unique Granite requires a 50% down payment to proceed to the next step.

Once you have approved the stone & templates, the cutting and fabrication process begins. The project is scheduled for installation, approximately in 2 weeks from the down payment date.

*Remember that before we come out and complete a template appointment, your cabinetry must be installed, and all appliances and/or sinks must be available. If they aren’t available, you can purchase all of your accessories though us.

Step 3: Quality Installation

When the project is in its final stages of completion, we will contact you and schedule a time that is most convenient to you to install your finished product. The stone is sealed with standard sealants that are good for 1 year. (A 5 year sealer is available at extra cost.)

Then we professionally and precisely install the product. Our best installers will make all the efforts to complete the installation accurately and promptly. Most installation projects require approximately 4-6 Hours. We require the final 50% of the payment on the day we will be installing.
